Mecly helps people create, discover and join local events on a map. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We may collect account details such as your name, e-mail address, profile information, event content, chat messages, reports, reviews, uploaded images and settings you choose inside the app.

If you use map or nearby features, we may process approximate or precise location data when you allow location access in your browser or device. You can disable location permissions in your device or browser settings.

How we use information

We use information to provide accounts, show events on the map, enable chats, personalize the product, prevent abuse, improve safety, respond to support requests and maintain the security of the service.

Service providers

Mecly uses Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, hosting, database, file storage, security and backend features. We may also use map, geocoding and routing providers to show maps, addresses and routes.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies, browser storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect the service and make the app work. Optional analytics or marketing cookies should only be used after consent where required.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Some profile and event information may be visible to other users as part of the app. We may share information with service providers, comply with legal obligations or act to protect users and the service.

Your choices

You can update profile information in the app, disable location permissions, decline optional cookies where available and request account deletion. Some data may be retained where needed for safety, legal compliance or abuse prevention.

Children

Mecly is not intended for children under 13. If a higher minimum age applies in your country, you must meet that age requirement to use the service.
